Landmark Alantra advised Empresas Juan Yarur on the sale of 40% of Bci Seguros to the Spanish company Grupo Mutua Madrileña, for US$ 234 millions. Bci Seguros includes Bci Seguros Generales, currently the leading insurer in the Chilean property and casualty segment; Bci Seguros Vida (Life segment) and Zenit Seguros, which is focused on mass channels and financial institutions. Grupo Mutua Madrileña is the second largest insurer group in Spain, has a portfolio of 10.6 million clients and collected €4,333 million in premiums during 2015.
