Landmark Alantra acted as co-advisor to Grupo Gilinski on financial aspects related to the acquisition of 34.6% of the common shares of Grupo Sura in multiple tender offers in Colombia.
Grupo Gilinski is one of the largest economic groups in Colombia. Among its most relevant companies within the group are Banco GNB Sudameris and Grupo Semana, one of Colombia's leading media companies.
Grupo Sura is a Latin American investment manager holding a portfolio of investments with main focus on financial services and related sectors. Its main subsidiaries or relevant portfolio companies include:

SURA Asset Management, specialized in investment management, pension funds and asset management, with presence in six countries.

Bancolombia, the largest Colombian bank in which Grupo SURA is the main (non-controlling) shareholder. It offers banking services in Colombia and selected Central American countries.
A subsequent agreement between Grupo Gilinski along with the other parties involved in the Grupo Sura and Grupo Nutresa transactions, would ultimately lead to Grupo Gilinski and its partners obtaining control of Grupo Nutresa.
