Landmark Alantra acted as exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders of Bizarro Chile, a Chilean live entertainment company founded in 2008, in the sale of a majority stake to Live Nation, the world’s largest live entertainment company and global operator of venues, tours, and festivals. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals for closing.
For nearly two decades, Bizarro Chile has brought leading international acts to Chilean audiences, while building close ties with artists from across Latin America and a solid track record in local content. Since 2018, the company has been the producer behind the Viña del Mar Festival. Following the transaction, Alfredo Alonso, Bizarro’s founder, will remain at the helm of the company.
The partnership brings together Live Nation’s global scale and Bizarro’s deep understanding of the Chilean market, reinforcing Live Nation’s position in a key market for the region and broadening the live music offering for audiences and artists in Chile.
